Municipal court to hold DUS clinic

Findlay Municipal Court will hold its third annual Driving Under Suspension day clinic on April 29 and 30. The clinic is open by appointment only from 9-11:30 a.m. and from 1:30-4 p.m. April 29; and from 9-11 a.m. April 30. Appointments may be scheduled by calling the Clerk of Courts office at 419-424-7141. The clinic is a workshop intended to assist those who have a suspended license to obtain a valid driver license or driving privileges while pursuing full reinstatement. Municipal court personnel will work with individuals, outlining all issues and steps involved to successfully reinstatement their license. A Bureau of Motor Vehicles representative will be available both days to process release paperwork, reinstatement fees and address other BMV suspensions. The Ohio BMV implemented a driver's license reinstatement fee debt reduction and amnesty program in December 2020. Drivers who can demonstrate proof of indigence will be eligible for the program. Those interested should contact the court for a list of qualifying proof to be eligible for this program.
