Library to offer six-part financial literacy series

A virtual program on financial literacy will be offered today by the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library. Part one of a six-part financial literacy program will be held at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. The program, Foundations of Investing, will cover several areas of investing, including asset allocation, strategy and outside influences on assets. The presenter will be Andrew Stepleton from Edward Jones. To celebrate In-Demand Jobs Week, there will also be career kits that patrons can pick up at the library through May 8. Each kit contains resume tips, information about local resources and links to online tools to help with a job search. The Lima Symphony Orchestra will present Mornings with Maestro on Facebook at 10:30 a.m. today. The children's program features fun and music education with the symphony. Miss Sarah will present At Home Makerspace on Facebook at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The theme is holograms in honor of May the Fourth. Storytime Live will be held on Zoom at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The interactive program allows children to talk and sing along with Ms. Nicole. The theme is Super Silly Storytime. This month's free Crafty Kits for Kids is Gardening Gurus. The kit can be picked up in the children's department.
