36% of Hancock County started on vaccine

A total of 27,309 Hancock County residents have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. That is 36.04% of the county's population. And 23,575 people, or 31.11% of the county's population, have received all the doses needed for their vaccine. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines each require two doses, while the Johnson & Johnson vaccine requires one dose. A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving their final dose. The Hancock County residents who have completed the vaccine include 2,452 people ages 80 and older; 1,692 people ages 75 to 79; 2,457 people ages 70 to 74; 2,785 people ages 65 to 69; 2,787 people ages 60 to 64; 4,142 people ages 50 to 59; 2,765 people ages 40 to 49; 2,202 people ages 30 to 39; 1,754 people ages 20 to 29; and 539 people 19 years old or younger. Statewide, 4,720,786 Ohioans have received at least one dose of vaccine. That is 40.39% of the state's population. And 3,865,403 Ohioans, or 33.07% of the state's population, have received all needed doses.
