College First College First Church of God will begin a new sermon series called "Stories of Strength," with the Rev. Brandon Kelly exploring Joshua 1:1-9. The sermon title is "When Strength Isn't Enough." The church will celebrate its graduates at all services Sunday. The Thank Offering supporting the Churches of God Women's Ministry will be received. In-person worship is at 9 and 11 a.m. in the main sanctuary (1100 N. Main St.), with a contemporary service at 10 a.m. in the Winebrenner Auditorium (950 N. Main St.). Broadway St., Leipsic. There is no charge to attend, and a syllabus will be provided. Howard UM Howard United Methodist Church will host a drive-thru community dinner on Sunday. On the menu are hot dogs, potato salad, applesauce and cookies. St. Andrew's UM St. Andrew's United Methodist Church will recognize its graduates during Sunday worship. The message will be "Ministry" in the sermon series "Becoming Church," from Acts 1:15-17, 21-26 and 6:1-8. In-person worship is offered at 9 and 11:15 a.m., and worshipers should use the West Crawford Street entrance. Masks are highly recommended for all attending, regardless of vaccination status, and people are encouraged to sit with their household group. Worship continues online at www.saumcfindlay.org and on Facebook. A plant sale will be held in the parking lot of the church (west of the church, at 120 W. Crawford St.) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 5. A large variety of perennials and more will be available, with proceeds benefiting local missions. St. John's Lutheran St. John's Lutheran Church, 1701 Tiffin Ave., is continuing to hold services in the parking lot due to construction. Outdoor services are held at 9:30 a.m. Sundays through June 13, broadcast on 87.9 FM, as well as through speakers. They are also streamed live on Facebook. Attendees may remain in their vehicle or bring a lawn chair and sit outside. A picnic on the porch will be held after Sunday's service. Attendees should bring their own lunch. St. Paul Lutheran JENERA — Holy Trinity Sunday will be celebrated at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9340 Township Road 32, Jenera. Guest speaker Abe Cramer will present the message at both services. Traditional worship will be held at 9 a.m., followed by small-group studies for all ages at 10:15. Contemporary worship begins with praise songs at 11:15 a.m. A Bible study class for women will be held at 6:30 p.m., including fellowship and a fitness activity. Trinity Baptist Special services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 County Road 236, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday to commemorate Memorial Day. Special recognition will be offered for the church's deceased military heroes, along with members who have died since 2019. Lead pastor the Rev. Benjamin Jennings will present the message "Identifying Jesus" as part of the observance. The service will also feature the award-winning Southern gospel quartet "Soul'd Out." The service may be viewed through livestream on the Trinity Baptist Church Facebook page. Trinity Lutheran Trinity Lutheran Church, 935 W. Bigelow Ave., will celebrate Holy Trinity Sunday. Hymns at the 9 and 11 a.m. services will offer praise to our triune God, with special music titled "King of Kings" presented by Belinda Ernst. Communion will be shared at both services. The first Wednesday service will be a special experience of healing and remembrance, offering thanks for the sacrifices of those who gave their lives in service to our country. This is the last week to register for vacation Bible school. VBS will take place from 6-8 p.m. daily, June 20-24, with dinner served each night. Trinity Lutheran, Jenera JENERA — Trinity Lutheran School's graduation will be held during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Jenera. Allison Stuckey is the class speaker. Class members include Owen Clarence Achey, Maya Elizabeth Beagle, Mikayla Faith Norway and Allison Kay Stuckey. The class motto is Revelation 2:10, "Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life." Class colors are coral and teal, and the class flower is the daisy. A regular service will be held at 8 a.m. Bible classes for adults and teens begin at 9:20. Special music, before and after each service, will be a videotaped performance of the students in grades three and four playing hand chimes. Trinity's Sunday service is now livestreamed at 8 a.m., except when there is a special service at 10:30 a.m. (such as graduation). Then, the 10:30 service will be the one livestreamed.
