Maurine 'Reenie' Wall

Maurine "Reenie" Wall passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on June 12, 2021. She was 86. Born July 29, 1934, in Columbus, she was a daughter of Maurice and Emma (David) Martin. On July 9, 1954, she married Jerre Wall and he survives in Upper Sandusky. Also surviving are her children, Jennifer (Mike) Horn, Upper Sandusky, Dennis (Sue) Wall, Delaware, and Martin Wall, Tucson, Arizona, as well as 7 grandchildren, Emily Horn, Sarah Drechsler, Meghan Horn, Mark Wall, Rachel Pool, Lisa Wall, and Erik Wall, 8 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Tom Martin. Preceding her in death were her parents, sister Susan Dunn, and brother Bill Martin. Reenie was a 1952 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and completed nurses training at Grant School of Nursing, Columbus, in 1956. She went on to become the first school nurse for Upper Sandusky Public Schools, and later served in that position at St. Peter Catholic School and Angeline School of Opportunity. Reenie will be remembered for her quick wit, fierce support of her family, and her daily glass of wine while watching Judge Judy. Per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service, but Reenie would have loved a toast in her honor. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
