Rachel A. Poe

Rachel Ann Poe, age 77, of Findlay, died at 3:40 a.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. She was born on November 8, 1943, in Findlay, Ohio to the late Denver and Georgia (Cavender) Gamble. On October 15, 1965, she married Robert D. Poe and he survives. Also surviving are a son, Brian (Jennifer) Poe of Findlay; daughter, Kristin (Nate) Zufelt of Lewis Center; grandchildren: Riley Poe, Mallory Poe, Madelyn Zufelt and Calvin Zufelt; brother, Gary (Sharon) Gamble of Texas. She was preceded in death by brothers: Jack, Larry and Ernie Gamble. Rachel was a person of strong faith and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Findlay. Her joyfulness in life shown for all who met her. She loved to travel and shop, and greatly enjoyed meeting new people. She was devoted to her family and friends, and cherished time spent with them. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home in Findlay. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Findlay. Pastor Mike Legg will officiate and interment will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery.
