Robert Benjamine Mays Jr., AKA "Barz", 29, of Fostoria, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, in Kenton, Ohio. He was born January 16, 1992, in Tiffin, OH to Robert & Dawn (Vaughn) Mays Sr. He is survived by parents Robert (fiancé Gabriele Phelps) Mays Sr. of Fostoria, mother Dawn (Rulber) Ponce Chirinos of Jacksonville, FL, grandmother Janet Mays of Fostoria, son Carson Lee Mays, daughter Aaliyah Lorrain Mays, sister Emily L. Mays of Fostoria, & half-brother Justin Vaughn of Bloomville. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Benjamine F. Mays. Robert was a musician. He was a 2010 graduate of Findlay High School. He was very active as a rapper in the music industry, was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan, but his world was his children Carson & Aaliyah. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 5 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, Ohio, with Pastor Mark Self officiating.
