Wayne Woman charged with stealing from senior

A Wayne woman was indicted this week by a Hancock County grand jury, which alleged that she tried to deprive an elderly man in Findlay of between $7,500 and $37,500. Denise S. Downey, 45, of Wayne, was charged with theft from a person in a protected class, a third-degree felony. She is accused of a theft of cash from a 65-year-old man in Findlay in March. In other indictments issued this week: Brittany A. Ferguson, 31, of 916 ½ Main Cross St., was charged with a third-degree felony count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Tracy L. Snook, 41, of 1823 Park St., was charged with failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony. The indictment alleges that Snook operated a motor vehicle in Biglick Township so as to flee a police officer after receiving a signal from the officer to stop. David L. Fenderson, 32, of 1161 Brookside Drive, was charged with a third-degree felony count of possession of marijuana. Marzell Middleton, 29, of Warren, Michigan, was charged with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Rebecca A. Wilson, 24, of McComb, was charged with possession of cocaine and aggravated possession of drugs, each count a fifth-degree felony. Krista K. Gunter, 46, of 1200 Crystal Glen Boulevard, was charged with two fifth-degree felony counts of aggravated possession of drugs. Cassie M. Miller, 36, of 1772 Woodridge Crescent, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Shanna F. Westbrook, 39, of 518 Putnam St., was charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. Sarah N. McGuire, 36, of 610 Putnam St., was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony. Israel Taylor-Harris, 31, of 513 Grand Ave., Apt-A, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Hiram C. Boersma, 51, of 2355 Tiffin Ave. #229, was charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. Naythan D. Wolfe, 32, of 607 Wilson St., was charged with possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony. Tesla R. Corbin, 28, of 947 Morse St. 1B, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony. Bryant D. Long, 34, of Pontiac, Michigan, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Eboni K. Stinson, 40, of Cincinnati, was charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.
