Arrows win TRAC BOWLING GREEN – Toledo St. Ursula won the 2021 Three Rivers Athletic Conference championship in girls golf Tuesday at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green. Runner-up to Toledo Notre Dame in 2020, St. Ursula regained the TRAC title it had won every previous season since the first league tournament in the fall of 2011. Cline, H-L claim SBC River girls tourney FREMONT – Marissa Cline's consistent play lifted her to an individual championship, and Hopewell-Loudon to a team title at the Sandusky Bay Conference girls tournament at Fremont Country Club. Kline shot 40 on both the front and back 9s, and won the individual tournament by nine strokes over Danbury's Kamil Stephens. The Chieftains outdistanced Gibsonburg 388-404 for the team crown. They received 98s from Emma Kidd and Jenna Brown, as well as a a 112 from Emily Brickner. Calvert, which finished fifth with a 445, was paced by Brooklyn Brown's 101. SANDUSKY 0 VAN BUREN – Belle Miller scored a pair of goals in Van Buren's 2-0 over Upper Sandusky during Thursday's match. BLUFFTON 5 ALLEN EAST 1 HARROD — Sami Scoles found the back of the net four times in Bluffton's 5-1 NWC win over Allen East on Thursday. Reagan Mittendorf scored the other Pirate goal. She also dished out two assists. Allison Diller had an assist as well. Rilynn Jones scored the lone Mustang goal. CROSS COUNTRY Zibbels lead Elmwood PEMBERVILLE — Elmwood's Jakob Zibbel was fourth overall in leading the Royals to a third-place finish in the team standings of the Northern Buckeye Conference Jamboree No. 2 at Eastwood High School on Tuesday. Otsego runners finished 1-2-3 to earn the Knights a decisive win. Otsego had 25 points, Genoa 50 and Elmwood 98. Fostoria was sixth (149) in the eight-team field. Elmwood was fourth (97 points) in the girls meet behind Eastwood (21), Woodmore (50) and Genoa (93). Nina Zibbel was 14th and Abbie Allison 15th, both in 23:00, for the Royals. Fostoria did not field a full team, but Jalicia Mendez did finish eighth overall (22:07).
