Frey scores three, Riverdale shuts out USHS

SANDUSKY 0MOUNT BLANCHARD – Maya Frey fired a hat trick in Riverdale's 6-0 win over NCOSA-rival Upper Sandusky in the opening round of the D-III girl's soccer tournament.Callie Sudlow scored a pair for the Falcons. Kendel Rall rounded out the scoring with a goal.The Falcons advance and will play Mansfield Christian on Thursday in Mansfield. O-GLANDORF 8DELTA 1OTTAWA – Lily Haselman (two assists) and Makenna Siefker each scored three goals in Ottawa-Glandorf's 8-1 over Delta in the D-III sectional final. Clara Beach and Myka Aldrich each scored a goal as well to round out the scoring for the Titans. Emma Brinkman made two saves on three tries in front of the net.O-G will face Miller City/Swanton next Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. in Evergreen. C-RAWSON 7ADA 0RAWSON – Paige McVetta scored four times in Cory-Rawson's 7-0 win over Ada in the opening round of the Div. III girls soccer tournament on Tuesday. McVetta tied the Hornets' single game record. Lanie Kempf also scored for the Hornets.C-R will next play NCOSA-rival Liberty-Benton on Thursday at 6 p.m. ASH. CREST. 1VAN BUREN 0ASHLAND –- Ashland Crestview only found the back of the net once, but that was more than enough to beat Van Buren at home in the postseason-opener as it wins 1-0 on Tuesday.Van Buren ends its season with a record of 8-6-1.Crestview survives and will play the winner of Liberty-Benton and Cory-Rawson next Tuesday in Bluffton at 5:30 p.m. BLUFFTON 11MANS.
