Jason Bassett Stone

Jason Bassett Stone, 56, of Findlay, OH was united with his father, Clyde and brother, Jeffery on November 2, 2021. Jason was born January 16, 1965 in Bryan, Texas to Clyde B. and Carole (Beidelschies) Stone. Jason graduated from Findlay High School in 1983, enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Germany. That is where he learned his trade of heavy equipment operator, which he excelled in. After being discharged he went to work for O.H. Materials and traveled all over the U.S. In 1995, he moved to Tulsa, OK and worked most of his remaining years there. After his father passed away, he came back to Findlay to help his mother. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, enjoyed reading, learning as much as possible about history, playing golf with family and friends, but most of all, being very competitive, playing Scrabble with his Aunt Bev. Jason is survived by his mother, Carole; sisters: Jennifer Radabaugh and Julie Gundy; also two nieces, seven nephews, three great-nieces, and two great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde; brother, Jeffery; grandparents: Hazel and Richard Huffman, Lehr and Helen Beidelschies, and Richard and Anna Stone; and many aunts and uncles. There will be no service at this time. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay.
