Rockets will look to Fenstermaker for success

PANDORA – It wasn't exactly the easiest of years for Pandora-Gilboa during the 2020-21 season. The Rockets went 2-20 and winless in the BVC. Then again, it wasn't really easy for anyone. P-G did have Lacie Fenstermaker, though, who was named first-team All-BVC. She averaged a double-double in the season (12.7 ppg, 13.0 rpg) and excelled on defense, too, by blocking 1.7 and 2.3 steals per game. She also had 1.9 assists per game. She has quite an act to follow this season — her senior year — if the Rockets want to be competitive in the BVC this season. Fenstermaker isn't the only returning letter winner, though, as forwards Hailey Dysert and Taelor Miller are both back as well. 5-foot-5 senior Tori Duling is back as well for P-G. Freshman Devin Draper could help Fenstermaker down low with seeing as she's the tallest member of the team, listed a 6-foot-1. Draper won't be the only freshman that'll provide valuable minutes for the Rockets this season, as they have five of them listed on the varsity roster. Freshmen Peyton Diller, Lauren Teders, Maddie Rutschilling, and Paige Ferguson could all see time on the hardwood at the guard spots. Aliyah Wise rounds out the varsity roster and loos to get some time at the wing spot for Ryan Murray's team.
