P-G boys back after up and down season

Pandora-Gilboa's boys basketball team competed in two conferences a year ago – the Blanchard Valley Conference and the Putnam County League.In the BVC, the Rockets were one of the conference's best, finishing with a 7-3 mark.In the PCL? That was a different story.The Rockets finished 1-6 in the latter conference, creating an odd situation in which P-G was a contender for a title in one league, a second-division squad in the other.The Rockets finished 10-13 overall. They played great defense – that kept them in the hunt in the BVC – but they didn't score a lot of points.This year, P-G brings back a number of players, but doesn't have much height returning. The tallest player returning on the varsity roster is center Ethan Luginbill, who is 6-foot-1.Luginbill is one of six returning letterman on the Rockets roster. The others are guards Aiden Harris, Colin Harris, Aidan Morris, Eli Huffman, Will Huffman and Dillan Krohn.Pandora-Gilboa has a pair of playerbs –Ryan Johnson and Sam Norton – who lettered two years ago but missed most of last season with injuries. Joel Stall (6-foot-3) and Jacob Maag (6-foot-1) are expected to add depth inside, while Maxwell Wilson will help on the perimeter.
