Matthew Salisbury

On the afternoon of December 12, 2021, Matthew Salisbury of Warren, Michigan, died at the age of 52. Matthew was born to Dwaine and Kathy Salisbury on December 19, 1968. Matthew was a truck driver for RWS Transportation in Pandora, Ohio. Matthew was an avid chess player and loved to do crosswords puzzles. Matthew was known for his good sense of humor and contagious laughter. Matthew was known for always helping anyone who needed help. He would drop everything and help that person. Matthew loved to go fishing with his twin brother Mark. Matthew is preceded in death by his father, Dwaine, and his mother, Kathy. Matthew is survived by siblings, Danny (Barb), Cheryl Clements, Shelia Salisbury, Dwaine Salisbury, Scott Salisbury (Angela), twin brother, Mark Salisbury, and Michelle Salisbury (Ken) Laskowski; nephews and nieces, Kathy (Steve) Piotrasch, Stacey (Ryan) Hohman, Alan Haynes, Jennifer (Daniel), Savannah, Abigail, Nicholas, Mario, Alexis Salisbury, and Michael Hedges; and great-nieces and nephews, Madison, Katrina, Cheyanne, Alex, Isaac, and Audrey. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of ProMedica Hospital of Toledo for the exceptional care, compassion, and professionalism provided. Services will be private and have been entrusted to Coldren-Crates Funeral Home.
