Janet Brechbill

Janet Brechbill, 68, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at Mercy Health — St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Janet was born Dec. 12, 1953, in Bluffton, to Richard and JoAnn (Battles) Westall. She married David Brechbill Feb. 2, 1974, and he survives. Janet graduated from Cory-Rawson High School and obtained her associate's degree from Columbus Business University. She had been a medical secretary for Blanchard Valley Medical Associates and co-owned and operated Adecco Personnel Services, Findlay, with her husband. Janet enjoyed golfing, gardening, and was a member of Bluffton Golf Club "Hole in One" Club. She was an avid fan of Ohio State Buckeyes. Janet's survivors include her husband, David Brechbill of Bluffton; son, Ryan (Rebecca) Brechbill of Newark; two grandsons, Jacob and Sean Brechbill; sister, Barb (Bill) Garay of Bowling Green; brother, Dave (Karla) Westall of Lima; brother-in-law, Nelson Schaller of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; seven nieces, Rene Schaller, Michelle Kaye, Erin Shalabe, Elissa Zachary, Heidi Waldock, Shauna Welch, and Kendra Lugibihl; and nephew, Drew Westall. Janet was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kaye Schaller; and nephew, Justin Schaller. A private graveside service will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery, Bluffton.
