Douglas James Altman

Douglas James Altman, 59, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at Toledo Hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1962, in Findlay, to James and E. Jane (Elkin) Altman. Doug married Melissa (Steele) May 21, 2012, and she survives. Doug loved to watch NASCAR and football, and was a collector of classic vinyl records. In addition to his wife Melissa, Doug is also survived by his daughter, Crystal Altman of Fostoria; two stepdaughters, Brittany Sours of Fostoria and Tiffany Peterman of Texas; stepson, Adam Peterson of Findlay; one grandchild; two brothers, Dan (Sandy) Altman of Findlay and Duffe (Laurie) Altman of Findlay; and two sisters, Dana (Roger) Patterson of Findlay and Donna (Richard) Ebanks of Toledo. Doug was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Diane Hartsing. At his request, no services will take place. Memorial contributions in Doug's name may be made to the funeral home.
