Bluffton rolls past Arlington in final, wins tournament

BLUFFTON HOLIDAY TOURNAMENTBLUFFTON — Bluffton started strong and finished even stronger in rolling past Arlington, 67-35, on Thursday in the championship game of the 2021 McDonald's Holiday Tournament.Trenton Donley pumped in 21 points to lead a balanced Bluffton offense. Trey Boblitt scored 13 points, Marek Donaldson 11 and Kyler Kinn nine. Bluffton jumped to a 15-8 lead in the first quarter, then capped the game with a 29-9 barrage in the fourth. The Pirates won their sixth straight game and improved to 7-1 heading into the 2022 portion of the schedule.Rylar Essinger led Arlington with 10 points. Brady Kin added nine points for the Red Devils (6-4).In the consolation game, Continental built a 32-23 halftime lead and held on through a low-scoring second half to beat Cory-Rawson 44-41.Konnor Knipp-Williams was 6-of-9 from the line and led Continental with 14 points.
