Hardin Democrats hosts luncheon

KENTON — The Hardin County Democratic Party will host its annual Presidents Day Luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Kenton Moose Lodge, 801 West Lima Ave., Kenton. Candidates scheduled to speak include John Cranley, Cincinnati mayor running for governor; Cheryl Stevens, Cuyahoga County council member running for lieutenant governor; Jeff Crossman, state representative running for attorney general; and Jeff Sites, Army veteran and warehouse manager running for U.S. Congress. The luncheon meal will include pork chops, salmon, carrots, corn, cheesy potatoes, assorted pie and drinks. Afterward, there will be a silent auction, crocheted afghan drawing and 50/50 drawing. The cost is $20 per person or $10 for students through college. Carryout meals are available for pickup prior to noon, and all proceeds will help support the activities of the Hardin County Democratic Party.
