Storage facility plans approved

Findlay City Planning Commission on Thursday approved a site plan for a self-storage facility at 620 Western Ave. Charles Lammers, the owner, plans to build three storage buildings at the site, at the northwest corner of Western Avenue and Lincoln Street. Two of the buildings would be 115 feet by 20 feet, and one would be 115 feet by 30 feet. Separately, the planning commission approved a plan for Anderson Dental to construct a dental office at 1301 E. Sandusky St., just west of Hoffner Elite Dentistry, 1401 E. Sandusky St. The plan calls for the new building to be 4,811 square feet. The board also approved a new parking lot at the southeast corner of East Street and East Main Cross Street for LaRiche Chevrolet Cadillac, 215 E. Main Cross St. The parking lot will have 51 spaces for car sales. The site previously had been the location of Golden Key Title Co., which moved to 128 E. Front St. Hancock County government demolished the old Golden Key building as part of the project to raise the approach to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway overpass last year.
