Live @ Armes offered monthly

The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts is changing the schedule of its Live @ Armes concerts. The club-style shows, originally offered quarterly, will now be hosted monthly. Lineups will be released in "sets" of four performances in January, May and September. Ticket prices for the shows vary based on desired seating. Standing room-only tickets cost $15; regular floor seating tickets cost $25; high-top table seating tickets cost $40; and Golden Circle table tickets cost $50. On May 19, VickiKristinaBarcelona will perform reimagined songs of Tom Waits with three-part harmonies and quirky instrumentation. On June 16, Armchair Boogie will bring their fusion of acoustic instruments with electric backbeats to the stage. On July 28, Eliot Lewis returns to Findlay with his distinctive band of rock and soul. On Aug. 18, husband-and-wife duo Darin and Brooke Aldridge will perform bluegrass, gospel and traditional country music. Tickets for these concerts are on sale at 419-423-2787, ext. 100, online at MCPA.org and in person at the box office. Discounts are available for those who buy tickets to the entire set.
