William McComb

William McComb, 81, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Independence House, Fostoria. He was born Sept. 5, 1940, in Fostoria, to Edward and Alice McComb. He married Janet McComb who survives in Bowling Green. He is survived by his wife, Janet McComb; son, Ryan McComb of Fostoria; and stepdaughter, Kathy Thompson of Fostoria. William retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years and served during the Vietnam War. He also worked at ExCello in Fostoria and Walmart in Findlay. William was a 1958 graduate of Fostoria High School and years ago enjoyed watching NASCAR, go-kart racing, bowling and horseback riding. &emsp;&emsp; Memorial services will be at noon Friday, March 25, 2022, at Fountain Cemetery Veteran's Chapel with Pastor Bernie Dickson officiating. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria, with military honors performed by United Veterans of Fostoria. Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
