Arlington man pens suspense novel

David Sielschott, of Arlington, has published a fictional novel titled "For the Good of All." According to a press release, "For the Good of All" is a gripping Christian fiction that grabs readers' attention from the start. It tells the story of Jay Sampson, the best young detective in the Armor, Ohio, Police Department. His life takes a radical turn when his childhood mentor, John Alexander, is accused of molesting a child and mysterious FBI agents come to Armor to take charge of the case. Although the evidence is air tight, Jay feels something is not right. His detective instincts lead him into his own investigation of the case, where he encounters Christ and receives a call to a dangerous mission that could lead him to martyrdom or the revelation of dangerous truth. Jay's adventure challenges the reader to answer the question: "What is right and what is wrong when striving for the good of all?" The book is published by Christian Faith Publishing. It is available through Amazon and at Barnes & Noble. Sielschott retired from Marathon Petroleum Corp. in 2015 and has lived in Arlington for 27 years.
