John R. Knight

John R. Knight of Findlay, died Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born Dec. 13, 1930, in Toledo, to Stanley and Rose (Krzyzaniak) Knight. His parents, along with brother, Elmer, sister, Leona Evans, and brother-in-law Robert preceded him in death. He was a graduate of St. Hedwig Elementary School, Toledo Central Catholic High School, and Bowling Green State University. John was of the Catholic faith, attending St. Hedwig church in his younger years and St. Michael the Archangel church after moving to Findlay. John was a long-time employee for Marathon Oil in Findlay, Ohio, and after his retirement from there, he pursued his hobby of furniture refinishing. Visitation will be held at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home on Wednesday March 30, 2022, from 1 to 3 pm. with Prayer Service beginning at 3 pm. Deacon David Gerardi will officiate. Burial will occur at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Church, Findlay Ohio.
