Bank offers giveaway, shredding services

Citizens National Bank will celebrate April as Community Banking Month by highlighting local businesses through its annual gift basket giveaway, as well as hosting Community Shred Day. Each Citizens National Bank branch is giving away a gift basket including local items from its community. Anyone who visits a branch during April can enter to win a community gift basket valued at over $150 each. Entries can also be made at cnbohio.com. The drawing for the baskets will be held April 29. Also, as a community service, each branch will host a Community Shred Day on April 29. Members of the public are invited to bring their personal paper documents to be shredded. Items to be shredded will be accepted during normal business hours of each office, and each household is limited to three standard office-size boxes or grocery bags. Items to be shredded may include: financial statements; canceled and blank checks; paycheck stubs; credit card and account numbers; personal and tax records; medical records; any items containing your Social Security number or signature; and any mail or magazines with personal identifiers.
