Colleen Tyson

Colleen Tyson, 82, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Independence House, Fostoria. She was born July 15, 1939, in Wyandot County, to Alfred and Edith (Holzwart) Jones. Colleen is survived by her sister, Gail (Glen) Wildman of Fostoria; brother, Ronald Jones of Findlay; two nieces, Stephanie (Curtis) Tait and Stacie (Jason) Roby; two nephews, Greg (Anna) Wildman and Scott (Kristina) Wildman; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Colleen retired from Fostoria Industries and was a 1957 graduate of Fostoria High School. She was a 4-H advisor in Hancock County for many years and raised horses. Colleen enjoyed scrapbooking, nature walks at Hancock County parks, and traveled in the states and overseas. Colleen's funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Robin Kapostasy officiating. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2022, and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Hope Lutheran Church, Fostoria.
