Paving projects close roadways

The Hancock County Engineer's Office has scheduled road paving this week and next for a number of city, county and township roads. Planned roadwork includes: • Ackerly Street, from Perrin Avenue to Oliver Street and from Oliver Street to the church pavement, in McComb, will be closed to traffic today. • North Street, from Todd Street to Scott Street, in McComb, will be closed today. • Scott Street, from North Street to Cooper Street, in McComb, will be closed today. • Forest Lane, from Forest Lake Drive to Fernwood Drive, in Marion, will be closed Wednesday. • Wolf Run, from Indian Lake Drive to Shawnee Forest Drive, in Marion, will be closed Wednesday. • An alley in the 100 block of East Main Street, from Buffalo Street to Main Cross Street, in Vanlue, will be closed Thursday. • An alley in the 100 block of East Main Street, from East Main Street to West North Street, in Vanlue, will be closed Thursday. • An alley in the 300 block of East Main Street, from East Street to Crawford Street, in Vanlue, will be closed Thursday. • An alley in the 300 block of East Main Street, from East Main Street to North High Street, in Vanlue, will be closed Thursday. • Maple Street, from West Main Street to West North Street, in Vanlue, will be closed Thursday. • Township Road 214, from Township Road 257 to County Road 330, in Washington Township, will be closed through Wednesday. • Township Road 14, from the north Home Depot entrance to Township Road 142 and from Township Road 142 to the county line, in Allen Township, will be closed Thursday through Monday.
