David Allen 'Porkey' Lamb

David Allen "Porkey" Lamb, 55, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born July 11, 1967, in Findlay, to Joseph and Mary (Carter) Lamb, who preceded him in death. Dave is survived by two sons, David Lamb and Carter Lamb; companion, Shelly McRill and her two sons, Brian Hamlin and Christopher Hummell, and her two grandsons; father-in-law, Peter Zaras; and six siblings, Michael (Phyllis) Lamb, Deb (John) Wheeler, Kate (John) Dulaney, Mary (Dave Balmer) Zorn, Pat Mitchell, and his twin brother, Bob Lamb. Dave was a 1985 graduate of Findlay High School. He worked as a mechanic at various businesses and was currently working at Birch Run and Hillcrest golf courses. He was always willing to help anyone and enjoyed working on vehicles and anything mechanical. Dave's funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022, at the funeral home. Memorials can be directed to the family.
