Kathryn Baird Sparrowe

Kathryn Baird Sparrowe, 92, of Findlay, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Briar Hill Nursing Home, North Baltimore. She was born March 10, 1930, in Findlay, to Elmer and Leota (Bartchlett) Frech. She married Ralph Baird on Nov. 22, 1947, and he preceded her in death. She later married John E. Sparrowe and he also preceded her in death. Kathryn is survived by three sons, David W. (Roxann) Baird of Findlay, Steven F. (Theresa) Baird of Findlay, and Donald E. (DeAnn) Baird of Springhill, Tennessee; five daughters, Mary Ann (Daniel) Monday of Fostoria, Marcia (Johnny) Tolly of Austin, Texas, Janice Warner of Findlay, Connie (Charles) Rose of Bristol, Indiana, and Lori Baird of Findlay; sister, Violet Helms of Findlay; 24 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert Frech, Amos Frech, and Jimmy Paul Frech; two sisters, Rozella Frech and Arletta Sparrowe; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Kathryn was a homemaker and drove bus for Blanchard Valley School. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and National Council of Senior Citizens. Kathryn's funeral will be 12 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, with Pastor David Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Van Horn Cemetery, Vanlue.
