William 'Bill' H. Davis

William "Bill" H. Davis, 83, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born Feb. 6, 1939, in Republic, to Russell and Lillian (Wilson) Davis. Bill married Phyllis (Trauct) on May 31, 1975, and together, they shared 47 years of marriage. Bill had been retired for 20 years from Whirlpool Corporation. He was an avid Amateur Radio Operator. His call number was N8PTJ. He enjoyed photography, sitting in his backyard watching his cats, and he also volunteered at Red Cross for many years with his wife, Phyllis. Bill was a member of Bluffton Trinity United Methodist. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; four sons, David Davis, Tracy Davis, William Davis, and Jeff Davis; two daughters, Melissa Zilonis and Robin Brooks; and two sisters, Nancy Semler and Lola Jensen. He leaves behind his four fur baby cats, Baby Girl, Jasper, Gilbert, and Simon. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers, Russell, James "Jimmy," Richard Davis, Robert Dodson, and Donald Martin.
