Man charged with robbery

A Findlay man was indicted by a Hancock County grand jury this week, alleging that he committed theft in March and in fleeing, inflicted physical harm on a female. Forrest H.D. Hammond, 27, of 619 Morse St., was charged with robbery, a second-degree felony. In other indictments this week: Mary L. Stapleton, 37, of Forest, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs; and illegal conveyance of drugs onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, both third-degree felonies. Mario E. Lopez, 52, of 2506 Greenacre Drive, was charged with intimidation of a victim, attorney for witness in a criminal case, a third-degree felony; and violating a protection order, a fifth-degree felony. In the former charge, Lopez is alleged to have attempted to intimidate or hinder a crime victim this week in the filing or prosecution of a criminal charge. In the latter charge, Lopez is alleged to have recklessly violated a domestic violence protection order last month. Travis C. Herrera, 33, of Grafton, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony. Karisa L. Rush, 21, of Forest, was charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. Ashlynn N. Phillips, 33, of 2800 S. Main St. #222, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Autumn S. Hauenstein, 24, of 318 Washington St., was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Rodney J. Markel, 42, of 3416 Township Road 232, Findlay, was charged with failure to appear in court in another case, a fourth-degree felony. Ryan R. Brashares, 35, of 613 W. Hardin St., was charged with failure to appear in court in another case, a fourth-degree felony. Brandon C. Johns, 35, of Lima, was charged with failure to appear in court in another case, a fourth-degree felony. Justin C. Van Hoose, 31, of 601 McConnell St., was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound and aggravated possession of drugs, both fifth-degree felonies. Angela L. Henry, 42, of 12375 County Road 109, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Alicia D. Sigler, 28, of McComb, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony. Rhoda L. Thompson, 31, of 15101 Birchaven Lane #110, was charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony. Branden A. Howell, 32, of Fremont, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Marcus A. Paris, 46, of 301 W. Lincoln St. #4, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Tyler D. Baker, 25, of 719 Dayton Ave., was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Shelby R. Ault, 29, of 1116 Summit St., was charged with theft, a fifth-degree felony. Jacob D. Melanson, 36, of Columbus, was charged with forgery, a fifth-degree felony. Luther L. Ward II, 30, of Huber Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana, a fifth-degree felony.
