Halloween parade date announced

Sponsors are being sought for the 2022 Cops and Kids Findlay Halloween Parade, which will take place at 7 p.m. on Oct. 25. Organizers announced Friday that the parade route will be Main Street, from Sixth Street to Lima Street. Sponsorships are being accepted by the Fort Findlay Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Foundation. Companies and businesses interested in a sponsorship can view levels and perks at www.fortfindlayfop20.org/halloween parade. Registration for the parade will take place from Sept. 13 to Oct. 21. Entries made before midnight Sept. 30 will receive a discounted entry fee. Options are available for businesses, nonprofits and individuals. Types of entrants include walking groups, floats, regular vehicles and oversize vehicles (more than 45 feet). There will also be an option for placement at or near the start of the parade. Funds raised by parade sponsorships and entry fees will be used for Cops and Kids programming, such as Cops and Kids Go Shopping (formerly Shop with a Cop), Cops and Kids Go Back to School and Cops and Kids Get Creative.
