ODOT announces area projects

The following highway construction and maintenance work is scheduled this week in Hancock and surrounding counties, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. Work depends on weather conditions and, unless otherwise noted, will take place during daytime hours. Hancock County U.S. 224, from Findlay to the Seneca County line, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing. Ohio 12, from Arcadia to County Road 330, will be closed today, for five days, for pavement repairs. Ohio 12, from Findlay to the Putnam County line, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing. The village of Benton Ridge may experience temporary lane restrictions for the installation of new curb ramps that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Allen County U.S. 30 in both directions, from Fifth Street in Delphos to east of Ohio 65, will experience a lane closure for a resurfacing project. Ohio 696, from Beaverdam to the Putnam County line, will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs. Henry County Ohio 110, from County Road P3 to Industrial Drive, in Napoleon, will experience lane restrictions for a geographical slope repair through mid-July. Ohio 110, from Industrial Drive to County Road 424, in Napoleon, may experience lane restrictions for finish work through July. Putnam County Ohio 189, from Road R-23 to Road R, on the northwest edge of Fort Jennings, remains closed for a culvert replacement. Seneca County U.S. 224 at Ohio 587, in New Riegel, will be closed for roundabout construction through August. Ohio 100, from County Road 58 to Riverside Drive, in Tiffin, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through mid-July. Wood County I-75, from Buck Road to Monroe Street, in Toledo/Rossford/Northwood, will be restricted to two lanes in each direction for major reconstruction. Interstate 280, between I-75 and Starr Avenue, Toledo/Oregon, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures starting today for a bridge inspection. U.S. 23, from Township Road 49 to U.S. 6, in Risingsun, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through September. Ohio 25, from Newton Road to Ohio 582, in Bowling Green, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through August. Ohio 25, from Cygnet Road to U.S. 6, in Bowling Green/Portage, will experience lane restrictions and closures for roadway reconstruction through summer 2023. Ohio 65, from Ohio 235 to the Henry County line, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through September. Ohio 235, from Bays Road to Jerry City Road, in Milton Township/Custar, is closed for two bridge replacements through September. Ohio 281, from Ohio 235 to I-75, in Wingston/Rudolph, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through September. Ohio 795, from Tracy to Luckey roads, Walbridge/Lake Township, will experience lane restrictions beginning today for bridge inspections. Wyandot County Ohio 37, south of Marseilles, at the Marion County line, remains closed for a culvert replacement.
