First Lutheran First Lutheran Church will celebrate the Ninth Sunday after Pentecost during summer worship time at 9:30 a.m. The Gospel lesson will be Luke 12:32-40, and assisting pastor, the Rev. Christian Dittmar will preach. The First Lutheran Brass under the direction of Diane Adler will provide special music, performing "Regina Coeli" by Lotti for the prelude. The taped service will be available and can be viewed on YouTube by going to www.1stLutheranChurch.org and clicking the " August 7th" video box. The church will serve this week's in-person community dinner in the fellowship hall beginning at 11:30 a.m. The menu will be sloppy joe sandwiches, corn chips, fresh fruit, canned peaches, homemade salads and desserts. Lutheran Social Services requests for this month are laundry detergent, shampoo, and toothpaste/toothbrushes. Items can be placed in the cart by the elevator. First Presbyterian First Presbyterian Church, 2330 S. Main St., will meet for worship and Holy Communion at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. During August, the church will explore the theme "Live Fully" during worship. All are welcome to attend in person or via livestream at Facebook.com/findlayfpc. Holy Family Radio GLANDORF — Thanks to the generosity of donors, Holy Family Radio is moving into its first permanent office location at the Glandorf Parish Center, 103 N. Main St., Suite A. An open house and grand opening will be held Wednesday which is the station's 12th anniversary of going on air. Doors will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Hotdogs, drinks and possibly ice cream will be available. A formal grand opening ceremony is scheduled at 6 p.m. Holy Family Radio has been broadcasting Catholic talk radio since 2010 from a construction trailer sitting at the base of a radio tower north of New Cleveland. It currently operates three radio stations - 88.9 FM in Glandorf, 94.9 FM in Ada/Lima, and 88.7 in Findlay. A new station will be added in Fostoria in 2023 with another station planned in Van Wert. Immanuel Lutheran Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2300 Northridge Road, will host a free kids FunFest from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. There will be inflatables, games, crafts, snow cones and other snacks. The Romick Railway train and the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library's bookmobile will both be present. In case of rain, the festival will be held indoors. Pandora UM PANDORA — A craft and bake sale will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Pandora United Methodist Church,108 E. Washington St. Sale items will be located both inside and outside the church. There will be a free bounce house and craft table for kids, and free popcorn and water. Shoppers will have access to restrooms. Amy Miller will continue in the Acts sermon series Sunday at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. Worship services are offered in person and online (saumcfindlay.org or Facebook) at 9 and 11:15 a.m. The 9 a.m. service is also broadcast live on WFIN radio and WFIN.com St. Paul Lutheran JENERA — Deb Noll will lead worship and present the message during both services Sunday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 9340 Township Road 32, Jenera. Traditional worship begins at 9 a.m., followed by small group studies for all ages at 10:15 a.m. Members of the Outreach Committee will also meet at 10:15 a.m. Contemporary worship opens with praise songs at 11:15 a.m. The youth group ReFUEL will gather from 6-8 p.m.
