ODOT announces area projects

The following highway construction and maintenance work is scheduled this week in Hancock and surrounding counties, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. Work depends on weather conditions and, unless otherwise noted, will take place during daytime hours. Hancock County U.S. 224, from Findlay to the Seneca County line, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing. Allen County U.S. 30 in both directions, from Fifth Street in Delphos to east of Ohio 65, will experience a lane closure for a resurfacing project. U.S. 30, from Ohio 65 to Ohio 696, will have lane restrictions in both directions for a resurfacing project. Ohio 309, from Perry Chapel Road to Pevee Road, east of Lima, remains closed for approximately 70 days for a project to construct two roundabouts, one at Napoleon Road and one at Thayer Road. Ohio 696, from Beaverdam to the Putnam County line, will have a lane restriction to remove reflective pavement markers in preparation for chip seal operations. Hardin County U.S. 68/Main Street, Dunkirk, will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs. Ohio 31, Ohio 53 and Ohio 67, Kenton, will have lane restrictions for a project that includes resurfacing with asphalt, ADA curb ramps and sidewalks. Putnam County Ohio 613, from Ohio 108 to Leipsic, will be restricted to one lane for drainage repair. Seneca County U.S. 224 at Ohio 587, in New Riegel, will be closed for roundabout construction through August. Wood County I-75, from Buck Road to Monroe Street, in Toledo/Rossford/Northwood, will be restricted to two lanes in each direction for major reconstruction. Walbridge Road, over Interstate 280, Walbridge, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through August. I-280, from Ohio 51 Ohio 2, Northwood/Oregon, may experience lane restrictions for pavement repairs through August. Interstate 280, between Ohio 51 and Ohio 2, Northwood/Oregon, may experience lane restrictions for pavement repairs beginning today through August. I-280, between I-75 and Starr Avenue, Toledo/Oregon, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures starting today for a bridge inspection. U.S. 23, from Township Road 49 to U.S. 6, in Risingsun, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through September. Ohio 25, from Newton Road to Ohio 582, in Bowling Green, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through August. Ohio 25, from Cygnet Road to U.S. 6, in Bowling Green/Portage, will experience lane restrictions and closures for roadway reconstruction through summer 2023. Ohio 65, from Ohio 235 to the Henry County line, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through September. Ohio 235, from Bays Road to Jerry City Road, in Milton Township/Custar, is closed for two bridge replacements through September. Ohio 281, from Ohio 235 to I-75, in Wingston/Rudolph, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through September. Wyandot County Ohio 37, south of Marseilles, at the Marion County line, is open following a culvert replacement.
