Notre Dame sweeps FHS volleyball

Ava Buddelmeyer smashed 11 kills and Erin Caton dished out 10 assists, but Findlay High was swept by Notre Dame, 25-22, 25-18, 25-17. O-G 3 BATH 0 OTTAWA – If Thursday's volleyball match with Lima Bath was a test, Ottawa-Glandorf's Miya Ellerbrock aced it. Ellerbrock set a school record by serving 20 aces in the Titans 25-11, 25-15, 25-7 win over the Wildcats. Ellerbrock also had 10 kills and four digs, while Sienna Fry added six kills and two blocks. Kaitlin Kimmet recorded four kills, while Addy Bellman recorded three digs and 24 assists. Reese Von Oss registered eight digs, and Bailey Krause put up three. JUNIOR VARSITY: O-G 25-16, 25-8. PANDORA-GILBOA 3 CONTINENTAL 0 CONTINENTAL-- Autumn Schulte was 20 of 21 on serve receptions, with 21 digs as Pandora-Gilboa downed Continental, 25-18, 25-22, 25-15. The Rockets improved to 4-8. Corrin Luginbill smashed seven kills and three blocks for P-G, while Makayla Suter added seven kills and two blocks. For Continental, Delaney Bowers had six kills and 24 digs as the team fell to 3-8. Kelsey Bursby smashed 10 kills, while Riley Row added nine and Payton Vackert recorded five. Riley Brodman added 23 digs for the Blue Devils, while Bursby had 21 and and Row had 17.
