Liberty-Benton girls quiet Tornadoes | The Courier Riley Irwin scored 18 points to lead three L-B players in double figures as Liberty-Benton flew past Tiffin Columbian, 63-19, in non-league action. "You never know really what to expect Game 1 of the season," coach Irwin said. "Columbian had played a game and we hadn't. It was nice to see us come out and do some things right early on." Addi Crow added 11 points for the Eagles (1-0) while Lauren Gerken was right behind with 10 points and eight rebounds. Also for L-B, Lindsay May and Ally Hocanson each scored eight points off of the bench.
