Lauren Gerken poured in 23 points as Liberty-Benton shook off a rough start before easily defeating Ottoville 45-24. Ottoville jumped out to an 8-2 lead early in the first quarter, before Gerken and company switched gears. Karis Willow scored eight points for the Eagles. The Lady Red were down by 10 points in the first half, down by 11 in the third quarter, and by seven with just over two minutes to go. Yet, FHS had the ball with 2.5 seconds left down by two points with a chance to tie or even win the game at the buzzer. But, the Lady Red never got a shot off, committing their last of 23 turnovers to allow Tiffin Columbian to slip by, 47-45, in non-league action. Fostoria lost for just the second time this season, falling to 19-2. The Tornadoes improved to 10-11. Amijah Poole came off the bench to score 17 points for the Lady Red. Garyana Overton was limited to four points but had a team-best 12 boards. Jenna Johnson added eight points for Fostoria.
