UF softball splits doubleheader

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern ended the University of Findlay softball team's eight game winning streak on Wednesday, but the Oilers bounced right back with an 8-7 win in the second game of the doubleheader. Coming off of the program's first NCAA DII Regional appearance last season, UF has started the 2023 season with a 10-3 record. (14-sub head) Oilers fall 12-11 WINTER PARK, Fla. – The University of Findlay baseball team rallied to tie the game in the top of the ninth inning, but Rollins College used a lead-off walk, a wild pitch and an RBI single by Adam Torres to beat the Oilers 12-11 on Wednesday. Keelan Daniel and Cam Farrar hit solo home runs for Findlay. Farrar (2 RBI), Christian Orr and Tanner Herrera had two hits each for the Oilers (4-4), who built an 8-3 lead through four innings before Rollins (9-3) rallied.
