Police search for youth who shot at assailants

Police are investigating a robbery and attempted aggravated assault involving two juveniles and a man that resulted in shots fired at Circle K in Findlay Monday. Just before 5 p.m., Marcus Cataline, 20, and a 17-year-old male arrived at the gas station, 100 Crystal Ave., in a Chevy Cruze, while another juvenile, also 17, arrived at the Circle K in a separate vehicle, according to a release from Findlay Police Department. Cataline and the first teenager wore ski masks and approached the second teenager while he was sitting in his vehicle. Cataline and the teenager entered the vehicle, assaulted the second teenager and took his wallet, the release said. The teen-aged victim sustained unknown injuries, according to the release. The two assailants fled the scene in the Cruze. As they were doing so, the second teenager produced a handgun and fired three shots at the vehicle, police said. The bullets hit the car but no injuries occurred, according to the release. The teenager who fired the shots fled the scene and is being sought for questioning. Police said his whereabouts were unknown Monday evening. Police say the juveniles have been identified, though their identities have not been released. Police also say the three individuals knew each other. Cataline and the juvenile with him were arrested.
