ODOT announces area projects

The following highway construction and maintenance work is scheduled this week in Hancock and surrounding counties, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. Work depends on weather conditions and, unless otherwise noted, will take place during daytime hours. Hancock U.S. 30, from U.S. 68 to the Wyandot County line, in both directions, will have lane closures beginning today to replace reflective pavement markers. U.S. 30 eastbound, from U.S. 68 to Ohio 37, will be restricted to the left lane for crack sealing operations. U.S. 224/Center Street, Findlay, will close today for approximately 11 days for waterline repair. Ohio 15, at County Road 169, Vanlue, will be restricted to one lane in both direction for the construction of an overpass on County Road 169 until approximately Oct. 31. Allen Interstate 75, from Bluelick Road to Ohio 65, in both directions, through the city of Lima, will be restricted to the left lane for bridge joint repairs. Ohio 103, from Main Street to Harmon Road, Bluffton, remains closed for reconstructions and waterline installation. Ohio 103, from the railroad to Huber Street, Bluffton, remains closed for street reconstruction. Ohio 117, Westminster, will have traffic impacts and lane restrictions for an improvement and resurfacing project. Hardin Ohio 31, from Township Road 180 to Township Road 265, south of Kenton, will close on Thursday for approximately 60 days for a bridge replacement. Ohio 67, from Ohio 117 to Kenton, will be restricted to one lane and maintained by flaggers for berming operations. Ohio 67, from Wayne Street to Barron Street, Kenton, remains closed for storm sewer replacement. Ohio 701, from Ohio 235 to U.S. 68, will be restricted to one lane and maintained by flaggers for berming operations. Putnam Ohio 613, from Road 16 to Road 15-C, is restricted to one lane for drainage work. Seneca U.S. 224 and Ohio 587 will be restricted through the work zone during the installation of light poles and for seeding and mulching. The estimated time of completion is late April. Ohio 19, at various locations, remain reduced to one lane through the work zone for the sealing of pavement cracks. Ohio 101, at various locations, remains reduced to one lane through the work zone for the sealing of pavement cracks. Ohio 231, from the Wyandot County line to Tiffin, will be remains restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project with an estimated completion date of late August. Ohio 221, from U.S. 224 to Tecumseh Trail, south of Tiffin, will close to date for approximately five days for a culvert replacement. Ohio 635, from Ohio 12 to Township Road 34, west of Bettsville, will close today for approximately five days for a culvert replacement. Wood I-75, from Buck Road to Monroe Street, Toledo/Rossford/Northwood, may have occasional lane restrictions for finish work with an estimated completion time of Fall 2023. Lima City Road, over I-75, Rossford, is reduced to one lane in each direction with a temporary traffic light signal following a strike from an over-height load striking the bridge. The traffic pattern is expected to remain for several months. Ohio 25, from Cygnet Road to U.S. 6, Bowling Green, remains closed for reconstruction through July. Ohio 64, form I-75 to Mercer Road, Bowling Green, is restricted to one lane in each direction during construction of a roundabout at Campbell Hill Road. Wyandot U.S. 23, at Ohio 199, south of Upper Sandusky, is restricted to the left lan in both direction sfor erosion repair. U.S. 23 southbound/U.S. 30 eastbound, at the interchange on the east side of the city of Upper Sandusky, will be restricted to the right lane for erosion repair.
