Arcadia graduates 37

Thirty-seven students graduated as part Arcadia's Class of 2023. Graduates make their way into the gymnasium and to their seats Sunday afternoon. Five valedictorians — Brandon Courtney, Cassidy Boes, Erin McCarty, Carolyn Stewart and Reece Pullins and one salutatorian, Elizabeth Williams — were part of the graduating class. Each valedictorian gave a speech prior to the receiving of diplomas. Courtney spoke about the trials of the times the graduates worked through and experiences that made them flourish. Boes talked about the difference between easy and hard obstacles. McCarty's speech was about growing into adulthood. Stewart asked her fellow graduates to believe in themselves. Pullins urged his class members to always experience "the now". The class of 2023 earned a total of $246,000 in first-year and a projected $964,740 in four-year grants and scholarships. * More photos at the courier.com
