Young Miss Softball crowns Junior, Bantam champs

Findlay's Knights of Columbus girls softball team rallied for five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to edge Millstream Area Credit Union 10-9 in the championship game of the Young Miss Softball Junior Division tournament. Ashlee England tripled, homered and drove in four runs in the final. Olivia Sprout had a double and winning pitcher Brynne Fletcher a two-run single. Kelly Walters (1B, 3B) and Isabelle Myers (2B) drove in two runs each and Rachel Haines had a double for MACU. Nick Feighner was second in the 16-18 competition with an even par 72. Noah Miles (74) was third. Marissa Cline also shot even par 72 in winning the girls 14-18 division by seven strokes over Maggie Wehrle (79).
