L-B boys third at Celina

CELINA – Andrew Tomlinson fired a 79 and Ryan Mead an 81 in leading Liberty-Benton's boys golf team to a third place finish on Friday in the season-opening Celina Invitational held at the Lynx Golf Club. Jarrett Haan added an 84 and CJ Beeman an 88 for l-B;'s 332 total in a tight match for the team title. Delphos St. John's won the event with a 328, Lima Bath (331) edged Liberty-Benton by one stroke for second and L-B edged Ottoville (336) for third. Ottawa-Glandorf posted a 352 score and tied for seventh in the 19-school field.
