Financial chief named

FINDLAY — Industrial power company One Energy Enterprises has appointed Thomas "Tom" Russell to the position of chief financial officer. "Tom will play a key role in advancing our vision of reshaping the utility industry and building our portfolio of industrial clients that want to take back control of their power needs and transition to a more sustainable, reliable, and cost-effective energy solution," said Jereme Kent, chief executive officer of One Energy. Russell is a global financial planning and analysis leader with over 20 years of experience. Most recently, Russell served as chief financial officer for CPBS Holdings, a private equity sponsored provider of diagnostic maintenance and repair services for laboratories prior to its acquisition by Avantik in 2023, where he led the company's financing strategy and accounting functions. He also previously served as the CFO of Fresh Products. Russell has served as director of Global Financial Planning & Analysis at Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. and vice president of Financial Planning & Analysis at Welltower. Russell is also a certified public accountant. Russell will be based out of One Energy's headquarters in Findlay.
