McCormick promoted to VP of HR

KALIDA — Scott McCormick has been promoted to vice president of human resources at Unverferth Manufacturing Co. In his new role, McCormick will be responsible for spearheading the human resources functions for all locations, including the four manufacturing facilities in Delphos and Kalida, Ohio; Shell Rock, Iowa; and Lexington, Nebraska. McCormick has been with Unverferth since 2012 and has served in the roles of human resources manager – Ohio and most recently as director of human resources. "In this new role, Scott will work on ensuring that we continue placing a major emphasis on hiring, career development, and the health and safety for the people at Unverferth Manufacturing for building on our reputation as a preferred employer in the locations where we do business," said President Larry Unverferth. McCormick earned his bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis on human resources from Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining Unverferth, McCormick was in human resources at Lima Memorial Health System. Unverferth Manufacturing Co. is a family-owned manufacturer and marketer of tillage, seed, and grain-handling equipment along with pull-type sprayers, fertilizer applicators and agricultural dual, triple and specialty wheel products.
