Warehouse plans approved

Findlay City Planning Commission approved plans Thursday for construction of a 187,500-square-foot warehouse south of American Plastics, 14801 County Road 212. The plan was submitted by Reingard Enterprises, which would lease space at the warehouse to local manufacturers. Access to the warehouse would be from Industrial Drive, which extends south from County Road 212 and is west of the American Plastics site. Construction could be completed by year-end. The warehouse plan showed enough parking spaces to accommodate 28 during the peak shift. Separately, the planning commission approved plans for construction of two spec buildings, of 28,500- and 20,000-square-feet, respectively along County Road 236. The plans, submitted by JDP Ventures, call for construction of the two structures on 22 acres along the west side of County Road 236 south of County Road 212 and north of Ohio 12. The buildings would likely be used for warehousing or manufacturing. Construction could start this spring.
