With the victory, the Eagles improved to 15-5, 7-0 in the Blanchard Valley Conference. That meant that for the sixth straight season, L-B won the BVC. Trailing the Rams 26-19 at the half, Hardin Northern limited USV to just two points in the third quarter. The Polar Bears tallied four points in the period, and still trailed by five points after three. The Rams won the fourth quarter 15-12, and the game, 43-35.
