Hope House hosting annual benefit auction

FINDLAY — Hope House's annual benefit auction, "Hope Shines Bright," will be held on April 12, at the Hancock Hotel, 631 S. Main St., Findlay. The featured speaker is Matthew Dicks, international bestselling author of six novels and two nonfiction titles. Dicks is a record 59-time Moth StorySLAM champion and 9-time GrandSLAM champion, whose stories have been featured on the nationally-syndicated Moth Radio Hour. Dicks also has first-hand experience with homelessness, a release from Hope House states. In addition to a selection of auction items, there will be several raffles with prizes, including a chance to win $1,000 or a flat top grill. Live auction packages include a week's stay in a Paso Robles vacation home, a bourbon tasting package, and original artwork made by Hope House residents and volunteers. Online bidding will be available for some items and all auction packages can be viewed at https://fhhfth2024.ggo.bid prior to the evening's festivities. Proceeds benefit the rental assistance programs and services of the Hope House and the Hope House Transitional Shelter. The presenting sponsor of the evening is Hancock Federal Credit Union.
