Star Theatre presenting 'Cinderella'

UPPER SANDUSKY — The Star Theatre in Upper Sandusky will present their spring musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella," today through April 7. From the playhouse's synopsis of the play: Rodgers and Hammerstein's take on the classic fairytale is one you will never forget, offering something for everyone, such as laugh-out loud songs like "Stepsisters' Lament," true love between the prince and Cinderella in "Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?," and of course, for everyone who has ever wished for the stars as in the lyrics of "Impossible." The production is directed locally by Marion native Lori Wygal, with dance from Findlay's award-winning choreographer Timothy Frost and music direction from Upper Sandusky's Andrea Schneider. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on April 7. Tickets for all four showings are $12 for members and $15 for non-members and can be bought online at star-theatre.ticketleap.com or at the theater 30 minutes before showtime.
