Marchal's six goals lead Trojans past BG

FINDLAY &emsp;&emsp;14 B. GREEN &emsp;&emsp;4 Nathan Marchal scored six goals on Tuesday in leading Findlay High's boys lacrosse team to a 14-4 Northern Lakes League win over Bowling Green. Ben Mueller added three goals, JP Smith had two goals and two assists and Cole Kirian netted a goal and added an assist for the Trojans (8-7), who went 3-3 in NLL games and finished fourth in the league standings. Cam Wight and Griffin Lane also scored goals, and Jackson Lane added an assist. Jude Brasfield made nine saves in goal. Findlay will wrap up the regular season Thursday with a match at Ottawa Hills. Baseball RIVERDALE 11 ARLINGTON 1 ARLINGTON – Riverdale's Cam Furr pitched three shutout innings and drove in four runs with three base hits in leading the Falcons to an 11-1 BVC make-up win over Arlington. Gauge King, with two singles and a triple, and Kydin Reed, with a single and a double, both drove three runs as Riverdale finished league play with a 5-3 record. The Falcons are 19-5 overall, two wins shy of matching the school record for wins in a season. Evan Reiter got the start and went four innings in upping his pitching record to 6-2. Farmer also homered and Manns had two hits and drove in a run for Riverdale (13-8), which run-ruled Arlington with four-run rallies in the third and fifth innings. Carly Karcher, Miranda Miller and Brooke Durenberger all had two hits and Eden Morris drove in two runs. Hailey Siferd had a single and a triple and drove in run for Arlington.
